Humanitarian Aid Issue: Task Force On Humanitarian Aid Management Holds Meeting

The Task Force on Humanitarian Aid Management held their 4th coordination meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

In this meeting, Chairman of the Task Force and Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing said that Phase-1 of humanitarian aid provided by the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management - AHA Centre will end soon.

He called for coordination on the Phase-2 management including policy and effective distribution of the aid. The Union Minister and attendees discussed cooperation with Office of the Secretary-General of ASEAN and AHA Center, distribution of the Phase-1 humanitarian assistance and plans and preparations for the Phase-2 as well as cooperation for distribution.
