Prize Presentation: Winners Of Union Day Commemoration Contests Awarded

Bago Region organized a Regional Level Essay, Article, Painting, Poem and Impromptu Contests in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day.

The Prize Presentation Ceremony to the winners of each contest was held at No.1 Basic Education High School on 9th February. Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win said the contests have been held in line with one of the objectives of the State Administration Council which is “To enhance the health, fitness and education quality of the entire nation”.

He urged all to strive for their assign duties in nation building endeavours with the harmonious efforts. The winning students were then presented prizes. The Regional Government also presented 300,000 kyats for first prize winners, 200,000 kyats for second prize winners and 100,000 kyats for third prize winners as the additional awards.
