
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 508 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 24,836 patients within 24 hours. 147 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 538,409 with 19,310 deaths and 514,223 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy, Germany and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:08pm CET, 7 February 2022, there have been over 394 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.7 million deaths.
