COVID-19 Meeting: Prevention, Control And Treatment Measures In Yangon

Ministry of Health on Sunday afternoon held a coordination meeting for the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures in Yangon Region.

There, Union Minister Dr. Thet Khaing Win stressed the COVID-19 surge in Yangon Region, importance of prevention, control and treatment measures preparations and the need to form emergency response teams and patient bed management committees. This meeting continued with discussions on formation of the emergency response teams, plans for treatment and quarantine measures, cooperation with relevant organizations and departments, reopening of the treatment centers and oxygen and medical supplies preparations. In his response, the Union Minister stressed the need to accelerate the COVID-19 awareness programme among the public and vaccination programme.
