Development Efforts: New Town Hall, Water Supply & Irrigation

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin visited Minhla Township to open the new Town Hall to mark the 1st anniversary of State Administration Council which will fall on 1st of February 2022.

In his address, the Chief Minister called on the officials and town elders to maintain the Hall and make efforts for development of Minhla Township. Memorable gifts were also presented to the Chief Minister and other regional ministers in commemoration of the new Town Hall opening.

The ceremony continued with a ceremonial opening of the new Minhla Town Hall and the Chief Minister viewed the Hall. The Chief Minister also inspected a 50,000-gallon water storage lake construction in YwaTaw Village to supply sufficient drinking water to Minhla Township residents. He heard reports on the construction process and gave necessary instructions.

The Chief Minister continued his trip to the opening ceremony of KamNi solar-powered irrigation system in Minbu Township area. Construction of the 213-Kilowatt KamNi solar-powered irrigation system which began on the 10th of August 2021 and was completed on December 20 cost over 235 million Kyats. Upon completion, this system could benefit 686 acres of farm land in the year of 2021 and 2022.
