Illegal Timber Extraction: Over 280 tons of illegal timber seized from January 3rd to 9th

Over 280 tons of illegal timber extraction have been seized from Nay Pyi Taw and other regions and states between January 3rd to 9th, according to the statistics of Forest Department.

The seizure included over 109 tons of teak, over 37 tons of hard woods and over 132 tons of other timbers as well as 19 vehicles and machinery. 30 culprits were arrested in these cases.
