Disaster Management: Prevention And Emergency Response In Mon State

Mon State Disaster Management Committee held their meeting 1/2022 on Tuesday at the State Government Office for disaster prevention and emergency response.

In his address, Chairman of the Committee Mon State Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun stressed that regarding the disaster prevention and emergency response, respective plans including cyclone shelters arrangement for the State must be drawn.

Also, the State drainage system must be upgraded. This meeting continued with discussions on disaster management plans in the State. Regarding the disaster response, Mon State Government also focuses on fast information flow and rehabilitation.
