COVID-19 Update: 235 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On January 11

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 235 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 12,542 patients within 24 hours. 2 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 195 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 532,402 with 19,295 deaths and 510,472 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Russian Federation, Turkey, Germany, Italy and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:52pm CET, 11 January 2022, there have been over 308 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.49 million deaths.
