Preparations Underway: Meeting For Diamond Jubilee Union Day Celebration

Magway Region Government held the 3rd coordination meeting to include decorated vehicles and performance on vehicles in celebration of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day.

Regional Social Affairs Minister U Soe Paing Myint said that regions and states would celebrate the upcoming Union Day with respective traditional ways.

For the successful celebration including decorated vehicles and performance on vehicles in Magway Region, the Minister called on the officials to cooperate and make efforts.

The meeting continued with discussions on plans and completed works. "Union Day" on February 12 in Myanmar commemorates the anniversary of the Panglong Agreement in 1947.
