Construction Sector: Ministry Opens On-The-Job Training (1/2022)

Ministry of Construction opened the online On-the-Job Training (1/2022) for fresh employees from the Building, Road, Urban and Housing Development and Rural Road Development departments on Monday.

In his address at this Training Opening Ceremony at the Ministry, Union Minister U Shwe Lay explained the aims of the Training and stressed the importance of mutual respect, adherence to law, by-law, rules, regulations and ethics as well as quality construction. He also urged the trainees to successfully implement the Ministry’s tasks. He added that the Ministry would accelerate its infrastructure-related tasks in this financial year.

Training programmes were also explained to 352 trainees. Since 1965, the Central Training Center of Ministry of Construction has been giving bridge engineering courses, and the Center was upgraded with the assistance from Australia and Japan.
