


Central Committee for National New Plant Variety Protection has been issuing the recognition certificates for the rights of farmers based on the scrutinized data of technology.
New Plant Variety Protection Law was enacted, and the rights of innovators and products from farming industry has been protected in line with the law.
At the meeting of the Central Committee, held in Nay Pyi Taw on January 7th, Chairman of the Central Committee Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi discussed that being a country based on agriculture, efforts are being made for the laws, bylaws and regulations to be in compatibility with the current age to support the agriculture development.
The meeting also discussed findings for issuing the recognition certificates for four new plant varieties.
