Warehouse Management: Training opened for a week

The Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement opened warehouse maintenance training on Thursday.

During the opening ceremony of the training, Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khaing said systematic management of warehouses is a crucial part for emergency logistics. The training aims to share the methods for systematic accepting, storing and distribution of goods and to avoid the wastage of relief items.

It also aims for the staff to understand and follow the rules and regulations for distribution of relief items to the victims. A total of 21 officials are attending a week-long training via online which is planned to opened for 8 times.
