Track and Field Competition: Bago Region Government organized the Competition

Bago Region Government organized Track and Field Competition on December 29th. Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, Regional Ministers and officials enjoyed the competitions, and presented prizes to the winners.

The medals and cash prizes were awarded to the winners of women’s and men’s 100-meter race and 400-meter relay as well as the winning teams of championship shields. The judges were also presented 1 million kyats cash award.

The Track and Field Competition for under 18 years old athletes have been held for two days from December 28 to 29. 320 athletes from 28 townships in the Region participated in the competitions. The Regional Government also provided 4.2 million kyats for 28 township teams.
