Commemoration ceremony: Ceremony held to honor 74th anniversary of Tatmataw (Navy)

A military parade ceremony commemorating 74th anniversary of founding Tatmataw Navy was held at parade ground of Naval Training Command Headquarters in Thanlyin station with the attendance of Commander in Chief (Navy) Admiral Zayya Kyaw Htin Moe Aung, Chief of Staff (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint, commanders of naval commands and the senior Tatmataw officials from Thanlyin station.

The parade of honor was held in agenda, Commander in Chief (Navy) delivered an address commemorating the anniversary of Tatmataw (Navy), took the salute of parade unit and left the ceremony of parade.

Also a ceremony of taking Paritta Suttas recited by the Sangha and offering daybreak meal to the Sangha to commemorate the 74th anniversary of Tatmataw Navy was held at Maha Nawanikazaya Mingalar Beikman of Thanlyin station with the attendance of Sangha led by the presiding Saydaw of Myo Oo Sett Pyit Kwin monastery Baddanta Teza, Commander in Chief (Navy) Admiral Zayya Kyaw Htin Moe Aung and wife Daw Aye Khine Nyunt, Chief of Staff (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint and wife, commanders of naval commands and their wives and senior Tatmataw officials from Thanlyin station.

The Commander in Chief (Navy) and wife and congregation observed five precepts administered by the presiding Saydaw of Myo Oo Sett Pyit Kwin monastery, took the Paritta Suttas recited by the Sangha and offered the offertories to the Sangha. Then, the congregation took the sermon delivered by the presiding Saydaw of Myo Oo Sett Pyit Kwin monastery, shared the merits gained and offered the daybreak meal to the Sangha.
