Fish Farming & Road Construction : Development Undertakings In Bago Region

The Department of Fisheries in Bago Region is carrying out the pilot project of cage culture fish farming in Wagatoat  Dam.

On Thursday, a total of 4.000 fingerlings were released to the cage culture farms. Chief Minister U MyoSwe Win urged officials to engage in cage culture fish breeding in other dams, rivers and creeks on a wide scale.

The Chief Minister and officials later inspected the construction of building for COVID-19 check-point near 39-mile on the express road.

They also visited Wingabaw Elephant Camp, and provided the needs for health and food supplies for the elephants. They then inspected road construction works and urged to compete the tasks meeting the target and set standards.
