TMO Shot Dead: Kutkai Tsp. Medical Officer Killed By Armed Men

The Medical Superintendent of Kutkai Township People’s Hospital was brutally killed by the armed terrorist group on December 14.

Medical Superintendent Dr Daw Wint Wint Myaint, together with 5 other officials, conducted vaccination process at MongSi Village, and went back to Kut Kai in the evening. Their vehicle was stopped by the armed group near MawHan and NaungCho Villages, and the medical superintendent was shot dead.

The rest officials were urged to drive back. Dr DawWintWint Myaing has been assigned in Kutkai People’s Hospital since 2002. She has been threatened for not to participate in CDM activity. Investigations are underway, and people are requested to inform any related information to the security forces.
