Rural development: Villages accessed electricity from Solar Mini-grid project

The Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win together with the region government ministers, region, district and township level officials attended the inaugurating electricity supply from Bant Bwe Kone and Yaytar Solar Mini-Grid project in Myan-Aung Township in the morning on December 12.

The chief minister and party arrived at the Bant Bwe Kone and Yaytar Solar Mini-Grid project implemented by Mega Global Green Company under the supervising of the Department of Rural Development and the head officer and responsible persons from the company clarified the status of generating electricity. The chief minister and party viewed the using electricity in the village and cordially greeted the local residents. 

the Department of Rural Development has implemented Solar Mini-grid project in Bant Bwe Kone, Yaytar, Tatkone, Ywa Thit, Gyeik Taw villages and nearly 500 household, monasteries, schools and rural health centers can now access the electricity, according to the department of rural development.
