Religious Exams: Ceti Yingana Exams Held At Shwedagon Pagoda

Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees is organizing the CetiYingana Exams which has been held since 1918. This is the 103rd time of the exams and the Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees is taking charge for the exam since 67th in 1984.

 95 members of the Sangha are sitting for the exams, held atChanThaGyi Prayer Hall of the Pagoda. Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Koon Sunday visited to the Pagoda and paid respect to the Sanghas, taking the exams in line with the COVID-19 preventive measures. Earlier, the Union Minister offered meals to the Ovada Cariya Sayadaws and members of the Sanghas.
