Fight Against COVID-19: AHA Centre Provides Aid to Rakhine State

Friendly countries, associations and organizations have been providing aid to Myanmar for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment. Through the Myanmar Red Cross Society, ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre) provided 100 blood pressure monitors, 125 pulse oximeters and 2,000 masks to Rakhine State.

It’s reported that the Myanmar Red Cross Society has been handing over the aid from the AHA Center to health departments and hospitals in regions and states for the fight against COVID-19. Ministry of Health reported that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached over 500,000 with over 19,000 deaths to date.
