Indian FM meets Greek PM and FM in Athens

Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar met with Greece's prime minister and foreign minister on Saturday as part of a two-day visit to Athens.

Indian Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said "We also discussed challenges at some length. The challenges of radicalisation, extremism, terrorism, of the cross-border manifestations of that. And these are completely unacceptable in this day and age."

During a short ceremony following their talks at the Greek Foreign Ministry later in the day, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias signed Greece into the International Solar Alliance (ISA) on renewable energy. The solar power alliance of 121 was initiated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015.
