Macron meets Kosovo's Kurti in Paris

French President Emmanuel Macron met with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in Paris on Wednesday.

During a joint briefing , Macron reiterated Kosovo's desire to join the European union. He said Kosovo could become a member of the Bloc once several conditions were "fully met". He stressed one of the conditions would be for Kosovo to resolve its dispute with Serbia and normalise relations between the two nations. The United States and most EU countries have recognized Kosovo's statehood while Serbia has the support of Russia and China.
