Antonio Guterres sworn in for 2nd term as UN chief

The U.N. General Assembly unanimously elected Antonio Guterres to a second term as secretary-general on Friday, giving him another five years at the helm of the 193-member organization. Under the U.N. Charter, the General Assembly elects the secretary-general on the recommendation of the Security Council. After he took the oath of office, Guterres promised to "give it his all to ensure the blossoming of trust between and among nations large and small."
