Prince Charles hails G-7 as 'game-changing opportunity'

Prince Charles met with John Kerry, the US President's special climate adviser, and business leaders on Thursday, ahead of the Group of Seven summit in Cornwall. Charles told the meeting that the G7 summit potentially presented a "game-changing opportunity" to build partnerships between governments, business and private-sector finance to help fight climate change.

The Prince of Wales made the comments in a meeting with business leaders and CEOs at St James' Palace in London. Charles has championed the environment and climate change for decades and is likely to be invited to the United Nations Climate Change summit in Glasgow later in the year.
