Agricultural Sector: Union Minister Gave A Remark At Coordination Meeting

The coordination meeting on the uplifting of agricultural sector in Magwe Region was held on 29th May. The Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo, Magwe Region Administration Council chairman U Tint Lwin and members and officials concerned attended the meeting.

At the meeting, creation of agro-based job opportunity, development of producing value-added finished goods and providing assistances for the requirements of establishing agricultural products industrial zones, necessary managements to provide assistance to establish advanced edible oil mills with cutting edge technologies by inviting the investors, effective transferring into mechanic farming system, job creation for the rural people and socio-economic life of the people etc.

Similarly, the union minister, Region administration council chairman and members met with the agro-specialized private entrepreneurs, owners of edible oil mills and groups of farmers at the region administration council office.

Then, the union minister and party inspectd the township cooperative oil mill, sesame finished products factory exporting products to oversea and sesame hulling factory and suggested the market and technological requirements.
