More Russian diplomats and their families were forced to leave the Czech Republic on Saturday, further escalating a dispute between the two nations over the alleged involvement of Russian spies in an ammunition depot explosion in 2014. Last month the Czech Republic ordered Russian diplomats to leave the country in a tit-for-tat move after Russia expelled Czech diplomats in Moscow over the diplomatic row. In April, Czech leaders said they had evidence provided by Czech intelligence and security services that points to the participation of two agents from Russia's elite GRU Unit 29155 in the 2014 depot blast that killed two people. Russia denied any involvement. Czech secret services have repeatedly warned that Moscow had a disproportionately high number of diplomats at the embassy in the European Union nation, alleging it is a base for undercover spies.
