Harry Potter store set to open in NYC

The owners of the Harry Potter franchise of books and movies are betting that tourism will make a big comeback soon in New York City when they are set to open a Harry Potter-themed store in Manhattan. The two-level store features hundreds of collectable Potter-themed items for sale, books, as well as displays featuring real props from the movies. The store is meant to be an interactive experience with various rooms dedicated to themes from the film. More than 50 different types of wands are available for purchase alongside the real wands held by the cast on screen. The store is scheduled to open on June 6th.
