Australian politician Bob Katter dressed up as a grim reaper on Thursday in a bid to resurrect Australia's dying car industry. Katter was joined by others in similar grim reaper outfits outside of parliament house, as a line of Holden cars drove behind them. GM Holden began auto production in Australia in 1948 and was the last carmaker to remain in the country.

Katter raised a motion in parliament calling on the government to help revive the Australian car manufacturing industry that ended in 2017, when the last car manufacturing plant closed. He later said on Twitter that the motion was dismissed.
