A Chinese passenger who has been quarantined as a person under investigation for 2019-nCoV pneumonia in Waibagi Specialist Hospital was discharged from the hospital, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health and Sports on Monday.
On 10:45 am of 31st January, the China Southern flight B-6208 landed at Yangon International Airport, which was departed from Guaungzhuo of the People’s Republic of China. One of the passengers onboard, a Chinese man, is suspected of 2019 Novel coronavirus with the symptoms of high temperature, coughing, running nose and sore throat and he was sent to Waibagi Specialist Hospital to undergo the medical process.
The laboratory test showed that he has not infected with 2019 Novel Coronavirus and his health condition is also in progress.
It is also learnt that the two Myanmar passengers who arrived Yangon by the same flight and were in quarantine at the hospital were also discharged from the hospital since their health condition is good.
