Paris suburb waiter shot dead due to slow service - local media

A waiter was shot dead by a dissatisfied client in a restaurant in the Paris suburb of Noisy-le-Grand on Friday, local media reported. The client was unhappy that his sandwich was not prepared fast enough, local newspaper said.

The 28-year-old victim died on the spot, despite the intervention of emergency services, according to media reports. Police are in search of the shooter, who was presumed to be at large, local newspaper said. Police at Noisy-le-Grand told Reuters an investigation was underway.
