Torrential Rain: 20 Houses Damaged In Phakant, Kachin State

Torrential rain in Kayin Chaung village, Phakant Township of Kachin State caused landslide by bank erosion of upper Sa Phwe Yay Hmyaw Creek, damaging 20 houses on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.

Due to the incident, a total of 45 people- 31 men and 14 women of 20 households have been evacuated temporarily at the Kayin Chaung village monastery.
