India's paramilitary Indo-Tibetan Border Police said on Monday that they had to fight against tough weather conditions to retrieve the bodies of seven climbers. Those climbers were killed in an avalanche near the country's second highest mountain in May. Eight climbers were four from Britain, two from the United States, and one each from Australia and India.
They were reported missing on May 31 after they failed to return to their base camp near Nanda Devi. Four mountaineers had been rescued earlier and so far the body of the eighth climber has not been found.
