Wanted mafia kingpin arrested in Bolivia

Bolivia's minister of government said on Thursday that Paolo Lumia, a 51-year-old Italian citizen who is considered one of the most-wanted drug traffickers in the world, was arrested in Bolivia. Lumia was arrested on Wednesday in a joint action between Bolivian and Italian police in the city of Cochabamba.

Lumia was carrying false Venezuelan identity documents when he was arrested, according to the minister. Bolivia has already begun the process to extradite Lumia to Italian authorities where he has already been sentenced to 16 years in prison.
