Xi holds talks with visiting Uruguayan president

Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Yamandu Orsi in Beijing on Tuesday, and the two leaders agreed to deepen cooperation across various sectors. During the talks, Xi noted that despite the vast oceans separating them, China and Uruguay share similar visions and profound friendship. Orsi noted that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uruguay and China is at its best historical period.
