World Youth Festival 2024: 8 members of Myanmar youth delegation to join the event

Myanmar youth representatives will participate in the World Youth Festival 2024 to be held in Sochi of Russia Federation from 1st to 7th March.

On Wednesday, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs met with the youth delegation, and urged them to utilize the knowledge gained from the tour in development efforts of youth sector. He also stressed the need to abide by the cultural norms of other countries, and to avoid the acts that could tarnish the prestige of the nation.

The youth delegation comprised with 8 members from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement. It is learnt that the delegation will also take part in the 6th ASEAN-Russia Youth Summit.
