Work Undertakings: Vaccination awareness and construction of staff housing

An awareness session on accelerating vaccination in low-coverage areas nationwide was held at Loikaw Township Hall on Friday morning.

The event was attended by Kayah State Chief Minister U Sein Oo and relevant officials. In his opening remarks, the Chief Minister highlighted the implementation of the four objectives of the National Defence and Security Council, including efforts to strengthen public health and national fitness. He said that as stability improves within the region, hospitals, clinics and health departments are reopening and vaccinations are being administered by age and type in both urban and rural areas. Then, a video clip on vaccination activities in low-coverage areas was screened.

On January 22nd, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of the two-storey reinforced concrete housing for aviation staff. During the inspection, the Chief Minister reviewed progress reports and instructed officials to ensure timely completion in line with prescribed standards through enhanced supervision and quality control.
