Work Undertakings: CM visits fertilizer plant, hospital and supports local sports

Ayeyarwady Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw, together with officials, visited No. 5 Fertilizer Plant in Kangyidaunt Township on Friday.

They met with staff, inspected factory operations, production capacity, raw materials, quality checks, safety measures, and employee training. He emphasized that the factory is essential for farmers, encouraged maximum production to reduce imports, and ensured environmentally safe operations.

Later, the Chief Minister visited the Central Control Room, Compressor House, and storage areas at Pathein People's Hospital, donating medical and cash assistance.

In the afternoon, he attended a flag-giving ceremony for the Ayeyarwady U-18 National Football Team, participating in the 2026 State and Region Youth Football Tournament from May 19 to June 3. He encouraged coaches and players to train hard, stay confident, and strive for victory.
