



The work coordination meeting of 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day organizing committee was held at the Ministry of Information at 10 a.m. on January 3.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of organizing committee Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Vice Chairmen Union Minister U Min Thein Zan and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing, committee secretary deputy minister U Ye Tint and deputy ministers from relevant ministries, senior military officials from the office of commander in chief, permanent secretaries and invited guests.
First, the organizing committee Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day which falls on 12th February, 2022 will be celebrated at the Grand Military Review Parade Square in Nay Pyi Taw. The parade was held at the tenure of former presidents Sao Shwe Thaik, Dr. Ba Oo and Mann Win Maung and it also was held on 67th anniversary Independence Day which falls 4th January, 2015.
The 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day will be held at the Grand Military Review Parade Square again by honoring the Diamond Jubilee Union Day. As the ministries in Nay Pyi Taw and regions and states will participate in the celebration, this meeting is held to carry out the preparations.
The regions and states chief ministers were clarified at virtual meeting held on 31st December, 2021 regarding with their role to be participated in the celebration. Next, the vice chairmen union minister U Min Thein Zan and Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing gave the remark.
Next, the organizing committee chairman showed the power point presentation on the documentary photos of grand military review parade held in 2015 and explained the points to be done to hold the celebration to be alive with teeming crowd.
Then, the committee secretary deputy minister U Ye Tint clarified the forming committee to hold the celebration successfully, plan to form the subcommittee, tasks and responsibilities and the plans to be implemented. Then, the attendees to the meeting discussed the relevant sectors to hold the celebration successfully. In responding, the committee chairman and vice chairmen supplemented necessaries to the discussions.
