Work Coordination Meeting: Machine Supervisory Committee organizes meeting

The work coordination meeting (1/2022-2023) of Machine Supervisory Committee was held at the Ministry of Industry on Tuesday.

In his address, Chairman of the Machine Supervisory Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than said that this meeting is to review and confirm with the members for the cases that were previously approved on the issues of funds transfer submitted by the departments and to effectively implement 10 responsibilities of the committee.

In the 6-month fiscal year from October 2021 to March 2022, the committee held coordination meetings for two times and 23 cases related to fund transfer were verified.

In this fiscal year, 32 cases of fund transfer submitted by the departments and 32 issues on project value change have been scrutinized in advance not to delay in work.

The Union Minister called for the systematic verification for purchasing and use of machines and equiment in line with the Committee’s policy and responsibilities to support for the state as well as the issues on the fund transfer and use submitted by the departments and effectively carrying out the tasks implemented by the committee.

Later, the Director General of the Central Equipment Statistics and Inspection Department of the Minister of Planning and Finance reported on process of the cases submitted by the Union Level Organizations/ Ministries.
