WiThaMa Antipyretic: Treatment of COVID-19 & influenza

In Myanmar, the traditional medicine for the treatment of COVID-19 and influenza has already started to produce as WiThaMa Antipyretic in Traditional medicine factory (Mandalay). To formulated and produced of WiThaMa Antipyretic medicine, the Traditional medicine factory is doing research works conducted with Traditional Medicine Council, Department of Traditional Medicine and professionals from University of Traditional Medicine. 

Than Htun Aung, Manager, Traditional Medicine Factory (Mandalay), said "We have good research results and WiThMa Antipyretic medicine has been officially announced for production. The medicine based on 4 types of materials such as tinospora, king of bitters, ginger and sandalwood.  We collected the raw materials for the production helped by the Department of Traditional Medicine. After producing the medicine, we will distribute free of charge to the public from the clinics and hospitals under the Department of Traditional Medicine."  

WiThaMa Antipyretic medicine can be use for grippe, fever and emphysema during the epidemic and it has a lot of beneficial. The medicine is suitable for all patients above the children, the pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

Moe Min Thein, Production Supervisor,  Traditional Medicine Factory(Mandalay), said "In manufacturing process, we purified and sterilized the raw materials first and added the same weighted ground into the powder. Then we added the powder to the capsules and sent to the packaging department. I am very happy to be able to produce the Antipyretic medicine for the COVID-19 disease." 

It has been officially announced that the WiThaMa antipyretic medicine can treat the seasonal flu and COVID-19 disease, and it will continue to be produce by the Traditional Medicine Factory (Mandalay).
