Winter Sports: Invitational Table Tennis Competition 2022 held

Organized by the Myanmar Table Tennis Federation, the final match and awarding ceremony of Winter Invitational Table Tennis Competition 2022 took place in the compound of National Swimming Pool Yangon on 28th November.

The aim of the competition is to share knowledge about Table Tennis sports among the people, to build friendship among the athletes while sharing experiencesand to turn out outstanding table tennis players.

KyawKyaw, Chairman, Myanmar Table Tennis Federation, said "45 teams participated in the competition. There are a total of 240 players in which some of them came from really far-flung areas. The oldest is 71 years of age and the youngest is 8 years old. We’ve also arranged special prizes for the oldest and youngest players and for the strongest spirit of sports."

In the competition, Magway team received consolation prize, third prize is grabbed by Sein Paw team, Happy Zone Team gained second prize and ATT team won first prize respectively.

Nyi Nyi Maung, First PrizeWinning Team (ATT), said " Mainly, we have to choose the players; 1 from A, 2 from B and 1 each from C and D. By dividing into 15 groups, we play in round-robin."

In addition, Chairman Cup Table Tennis Competition is going to be held in December, it’s learnt.
