WHO chief urges nations not to politicize COVID-19

The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) on Wednesday urged the world to stop politicizing the novel coronavirus that sweeps across the globe. The Director-General said his message for the world at this moment is national unity and global solidarity to defeat the virus.

A total of 79,385 people had died of COVID-19 globally as the number of infections surged to 1.3 million on Thursday, according to the latest figures showed by the situation dashboard of WHO.
