Welcoming dinner: Students welcoming dinner hosted in Taunggyi University

The 2022-2023 academic year welcoming dinner of students from the dormitories of Than Lwin Oo, Nan Wadi, Maw Aekary of Taunggyi University was held at the multipurpose hall of the university at 8 p.m. on 28 July.

At the dinner, Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun gave an opening speech and provided one million Kyats to use in the all-round development works of Taunggyi University and the university rector Dr. Kaythi Tin accepted.

Next, it was presented with the entertainment programs and the Chief Minister, rector, pro-rectors, professors and faculty members sung the Myo Kyun Nyo Nyo song and then non-lyrics basic Myanmar dance and traditional dances of Shan, P-Oh, Danu and Inthar were performed, it’s reported.
