









Welcoming ceremony of the fresher staff of Myanma Radio and Television of the Ministry of Information was held at MRTV Nay Pyi Taw Tat Kone in conjunction with opening of capcity building training course on Monday.
First, the staffs of MRTV performed the song "MRTV and good day". Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that MRTV is emphasizing on enhancing the capacity building of new staff to improve the quality of news and programs in accordance with the changing technology and to create new contents.
MRTV's work programs can't be done by an individual or a group and it needs to be implemented through the cooperation of all. He called for fresher staff to adhere to the code of conduct and rules and to strive to become good and skillful through continuous learning.
He also urged them to carry out their responsibilities and strive for the long-term success of the department as MRTV staffs have served their responsibilities dutifully in successive period.
Afterwards, Director General of the MRTV U Ye Naing provided new employees with office uniforms. The capacity building training course for the new staff will be conducted from 28th March to 1st April and a total of 284 employees will attend.
Teachers and departmental officials will lecture the code of conduct and rules to be followed, and duties and responsibilities according to each department.
After the ceremony, the Union minister watched the rehearsal of the MRTV staff for Thingyan dances and provided cash awards to respective dance troupes.
Later, he inspected preparation of machines for MRTV DTH system and condition of air conditioning system for the main building. He also visited the nursery school of the MRTV and looked into arrangements for the children and presented toys for them.
