Water Festival: MOEA celebrates Thingyan Festival

Ministry of Ethnic Affairs organized traditional Thingyan Water Festival and the opening ceremony of the water pandal was held on 14th April.

Union Minister U Saw Tun Aung Myint, together with the Union Ministers for Labour and Constructions, Deputy Ministers and officials as well as staff and family members, enjoyed the celebration.

The Union Minister called for cooperative efforts of national brethren for unity and peace. He wished for healthy life of the staff and family members and to be dutiful staff for the country.

The Union Ministers later formally opened the water pandal and enjoyed the performance of the dance troupes. The attendees were also served with the Myanmar traditional foods.
