Walking Thingyan: Celebration along Maha Bandhula Road in downtown Yangon

Yangon Region Chief Minister and regional ministers enjoyed the Walking Thingyan on April 14th, the Akya Day of Thingyan Water Festival.

The Walking Thingyan is being held on Maha Bandhula Road in downtown Yangon. The archways and water fountains have been placed along Maha Bandhula Road till the Merchant Road.

There are also entertainment programs by the artists, and people are merrily take part in the festival.
