Voting begins in Bangladesh's national parliament election

Voting began across Bangladesh on Thursday morning in the country's national parliament election, with more than 127 million registered voters expected to cast their ballots. More than 300,000 security personnel have been deployed for the polls in the South Asian nation of 170 million people, with polls set to close on Thursday evening.
