Vocational training courses: Aiming to gain employment opportunities for residents

Aiming to increase the income, to provide employment opportunities to residents and to support the livelihood, the electrical wiring vocational training course was conducted for 30 days in Thabaung township of Ayeyawaddy Region under the guidance of Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development.

Deputy Director,Department of Rural Development, Tin Tin Nwe , said " The knowledge which should be known in the electrical wiring training course will be conducted through theoretical and practical aspects. This vocational training course was offered with free of charge for the villagers to make their living with this profession conveniently. During 2022-2023 fiscal year, this vocational training courses such as electrical wiring and iron welding were opened twice under the guidelines of the department and the electrical wiring course is the 2nd course in this fiscal year."

Carpentry and motorcycle repairing courses are slated to open next year and the residents will be informed that they were allowed to join these courses.

The electrical wiring courses and iron welding course are being offered for this 2022-2023 fiscal year and electric iron welding courses and motorcycle repair courses will be conducted with free of charge in the coming year.
