Visiting Shwedagon Pagoda: MORAC Union Minister emphasizes long-term preservation

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin OoLwin paid a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda on Sunday, where he met with the Pagoda Treasury Board of Trustees.

During the meeting, the Union Minister emphasized the importance of drafting future action plans to ensure the long-term existence of the pagoda. Following the discussions, the Minister and party paid homage to the PaddamyaMyet Shin Buddha Image located on the upper terrace of the pagoda.

They also inspected the completion of polishing works on heat-resistant gravel plates on the pagoda's platform, along with the gold foil offerings to Naungtawgyi and its surrounding cetis.
