Vietnam, Singapore eye promoting cooperation projects

A conference to promote investment cooperation projects between Vietnam and Singapore took place on Tuesday. It was attended by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, as the Singaporean leader continued his ongoing visit to Vietnam.  

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong affirmed that Singapore is delighted to have contributed to the development of Vietnam over the past years. The success of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) shows the strong and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính stressed that the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore has become consolidated and comprehensive. The two Prime Ministers witnessed several memoranda of understanding on investment cooperation between the two sides, including many new VSIP projects. The two leaders also performed the groundbreaking ceremony of three new VSIP projects across Vietnam.
