Viet Nam's international visitors numbers hit 98% of 2023 target

According to data, more than 7.8 million international visitors have visited Viet Nam over the past eight months. The figure equates to 98% of this year’s target, 5.4 times higher than the same period last year.

In August alone, the country welcomed over 1.2 million international visitors, an increase of 17% compared to the previous month. South Korea, China, and the US are the countries with the most tourists visiting Vietnam.

The changes in visa policy and increase in the length of stay for foreigners entering Vietnam is a very good sign in the context of the peak season for international visitors. From now until the end of the year, there is still a lot of room to go beyond the goal of welcoming eight million international visitors this year.
